Microsoft Windows is a PC Platform reaching almost all the parts of the world and is the largest and widely used PC OS.So Microsoft's next step is making use of its PC OS popularity in bringing up Windows phone app support. PC apps are getting developed vastly.So Microsoft claims that as a developer makes an app for Windows Phone they are

also enabling themselves to make their apps reach all the windows including PC and Xbox'es.Simply even the windows 10 is made as an unified OS making it a common platform and a common app store for all. Microsoft also claims that the apps made for PC or Windows Phone can be converted alternatively for both of them.Microsoft also promises that there will always be Windows Phone and Microsoft has no plans to shut the Windows Phone segment.Even if OEM's stop producing Windows Phones, Microsoft will produce them.

So with clear cut plans on it, We could assume that soon or later; Windows Phone could emerge towards the front line with much more capabilities as like Android with the primary step already been taken by Microsoft as by the making f the Windows 10, the unified Windows OS.
